Project Blackout is Hardline Motorsport's road-registered performance development platform. Based on the Urban Automotive RS3 8Y, the car is currently running in its acquired specification while the Hardline build programme is developed. What happens next is to be confirmed.

At the heart of Project Blackout sits the legendary 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder — one of the most iconic performance engines of its generation. Currently running Stage 2+ with water methanol injection, delivering near 600bhp through the factory DQ500 gearbox.

Power is delivered through the factory DQ500 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox to all four wheels via Audi's Quattro system. DSG tune and clutch pack upgrades are in development to handle the increased power targets.

Project Blackout is Hardline Motorsport's road-registered performance platform — acquired in strong specification and currently used as the development baseline. The powertrain programme is underway.
